Have you ever watched TV with the volume down and tried to figure out what people are saying? Often you can easily misinterpret what someone said if you can only see their mouth move but can't hear their voice. I envy people who can read lips accurately.
Then I came across the Bad Lip Reading blog, and then I realized that lip reading can also be a pretty good source of amusement. Here's a sample (Disclaimer: Some of the lip reading is a little off-color comments due to the creators trying to match mouth shapes to words, but pretty harmless otherwise):

I came home tonight and, depsite being quite tired from a long day, I somehow felt axious for some reason like something unexpected was going to happen but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
Then just a few moments I ago my phone vibrated, so I check my email to find a little suprise waiting for me. An email from Blizzard entertainment, and what do my eyes behold?

Yes. It is going to be a good night.

My friend Clayton is part of a media consulting firm call M4 ( http://www.m4.com ) and I drop by the website once in a while to see their latest work, and believe me they've done some amazing stuff!
I knew that Clayton had been dabbling in art over the years I've known him and gone to school with him but I wasn't aware he had done any work recently, until I dropped by the M4 blog and saw that he had done some chalk art for the 2011 Utah Foster Care fundraiser. What my eyes beheld was unbelievable!
Check it out!
2011 Chalk Art Competition - Utah Foster Care Foundation from M4 Creative on Vimeo.
This man is amazing and has been an inspiration to me for many years. He has so many talents and he isn't afraid to share any of them.
Keep up with your art man, you are amazing. And to the rest of you, check out his company at http://www.M4.com and send some business his way!

I've been toying with an idea to integrate an image gallery into the blog for some time now to give family and friends access to a large online photobook for our family but I hesitated as I was worried that I would it be a hassle in storing them, managing them, and organizing them.
This is why I love Facebook as uploading, managing, and sharing pictures is so simple. If only I could put my images on Facebook and then share them on my blog that would be perfect.
Well, I've been playing around with the Facebook Graph API a bit lately and I've been pretty impressed with how easy it appears it will be to get my Facebook photos integrated into the blog. In just a few hours, I've got a rudimentary image gallery with all my Facebook photos loaded! Awesome!
While this is very much a work in progress, feel free to check out my progress at http://www.wearethereids.com/fbimg .
(Note: In order to view the image gallery, you'll need to click the "Login to Facebook" button and allow the page to access basic information about your Facebook profile, but this isn't any different from any other Facebook app.)
Enjoy!

...I'm updating my blog. I don't have time at the moment to actually post something important or worth reading, but a promise is a promise.
There, I updated my blog!

A few summers back I took up motorcycle riding again after having been away from it for quite a few years. I started back up with a nice, well-mannered Virago 1100 but recently found that it just wasn't really made for a guy of my stature so as a college graduation gift to myself I went and out bought my dream bike a few months ago!

Wow! Who knew that getting rich was as easy as selling off a few internal organs?
Check this out! http://kidneykidney.com
$70 - 80k just for a kidney. I mean, we all have two anyway so why not share the wealth and get some cash in return! Awesome!
Just think of all the other organs that people have extra of or don't use on a daily basis...their eyes...their brain...wow! Your body is just a huge sack of ready-to-sell goodness!
What are you waiting for, starting donating those organs!!!

I'm always noticing signs around town that I think would be much more memorable, informative, or funnier if they only said something slightly different. Case in point, at the pediatrician's office the other day I took some snaps of these signs:

... and with the magic of Photoshop ...
